This 16-week asthma management program strictly adheres to the International guidelines on Asthma Care & Management. It’s a program specially designed to impart education and treatment for better asthma control.

Diagnosis

The first and foremost step in the Asthma Disease Management Program (DMP) offered by BreatheEazy clinic is the screening and diagnosis of the patient. This is done in the following step-by-step process

cheap payday loans People who experience symptoms of asthma and would like to enroll for BreatheEazy program will be given a Health Risk Assessment questionnaire by the Emergency Room Physician (ERP) in the Apollo Breathe Eazy Clinic.

If the result of the HRA questionnaire indicates that the person is showing clear signs of asthma, then he will be directed to Apollo Hospitals Jubilee Hills for the next phase.

At Apollo Jubilee Hills, a chest diseases specialist will give consultation to the patient and then the patient will undergo a series of diagnostic tests to accurately diagnose his condition.

Treatment

Breathe Eazy Disease Management Program offers the most comprehensive treatment and management plan for asthmatics. The treatment program has two main components:

i) Medication

After a patient has been enrolled into the Asthma DMP program, he will get a free medication kit which comprises of:

a) Peak Flow Meter
b) Four months supply of asthma medicines

ii) Lifestyle Modification

Lifestyle plays a major role in asthma management. Hence a Lifestyle expert will counsel all patients who enroll for DMP. The expert will offer advise on lifestyle aspects like exercise and diet.
